{"id":10860,"date":"2025-09-12T11:30:10","date_gmt":"2025-09-12T11:30:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.proventusbioscience.com\/news\/2025\/09\/12\/quand-les-eaux-usees-deviennent-salines-une-percee-microbienne-en-conditions-extremes\/"},"modified":"2026-06-25T18:19:08","modified_gmt":"2026-06-25T18:19:08","slug":"eaux-usees-salines-une-percee-microbienne-en-conditions-extremes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.proventusbioscience.com\/fr\/articles\/2025\/09\/12\/eaux-usees-salines-une-percee-microbienne-en-conditions-extremes\/","title":{"rendered":"Quand les eaux us\u00e9es deviennent salines :<br\/>une perc\u00e9e microbienne en conditions extr\u00eames"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Depuis des ann\u00e9es, les industries qui rejettent des effluents \u00e0 forte salinit\u00e9, raffineries, installations c\u00f4ti\u00e8res ou r\u00e9seaux municipaux confront\u00e9s \u00e0 une surcharge en saumure, se heurtent aux limites des traitements biologiques classiques. <strong>De fortes concentrations en sel peuvent stopper l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 microbienne, ralentir la d\u00e9gradation et g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des boues toxiques et persistantes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Comment, d\u00e8s lors, fa\u00e7onner une vie microbienne capable de prosp\u00e9rer l\u00e0 o\u00f9 peu de micro-organismes s&rsquo;aventurent ?<\/p>\n<p>Chez Proventus, nous avons relev\u00e9 le d\u00e9fi \u00e0 partir d&rsquo;une question simple : peut-on optimiser un consortium microbien pour qu&rsquo;il demeure fonctionnel, voire hautement performant, dans des eaux us\u00e9es salines ?<\/p>\n<div class=\"bloc-title\">\n<p>La barri\u00e8re de la salinit\u00e9<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>La salinit\u00e9 constitue de longue date un goulot d&rsquo;\u00e9tranglement des syst\u00e8mes de traitement biologique. Au-del\u00e0 de 5 % de chlorure de sodium, la plupart des communaut\u00e9s microbiennes conventionnelles entrent en stress. Entre 10 et 15 %, la d\u00e9gradation des hydrocarbures et de la mati\u00e8re organique chute brutalement.  <\/p>\n<p>Pourtant, les activit\u00e9s industrielles, du forage en mer \u00e0 la transformation chimique, g\u00e9n\u00e8rent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des flux salins charg\u00e9s d&rsquo;hydrocarbures, d&rsquo;ammoniac, de phosphore et de mati\u00e8res en suspension. Les traiter efficacement demeure l&rsquo;une des \u00e9nigmes non r\u00e9solues les plus pressantes du secteur. <\/p>\n<p><strong>Plut\u00f4t que de combattre la salinit\u00e9, nous avons choisi de composer avec elle.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"boxed-text\">\n<div class=\"bloc-title\">\n<p>Terrains d&rsquo;essai : des boues municipales aux boues de forage \u00e0 base d&rsquo;huile<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Pour repousser les limites du possible, nous nous sommes associ\u00e9s \u00e0 deux institutions de recherche :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>L&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Sherbrooke,<\/strong> pour \u00e9valuer la r\u00e9duction des boues dans des effluents de lagunage municipal.<\/li>\n<li><strong>L&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Cranfield (Royaume-Uni)<\/strong>, pour \u00e9valuer la biod\u00e9gradation du p\u00e9trole brut dans des boues de forage \u00e0 base d&rsquo;huile (OBM) pr\u00e9lev\u00e9es dans une raffinerie en Tunisie.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Les conditions ? Rudes.<br \/>\nLa salinit\u00e9 ? Jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 15 %.<br \/>\nLes enjeux ? \u00c9lev\u00e9s. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"bloc-title\">\n<p>Comment nous avons con\u00e7u le consortium<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Notre formulation, d\u00e9sign\u00e9e ici sous le nom d&rsquo;<strong>Optimize<\/strong>, est un m\u00e9lange microbien sur mesure, pens\u00e9 pour les environnements extr\u00eames.
